| One of the highlights of the Action Week for Global Information Sharing (AGIS) will be a very special social event. On Wednesday 23rd September 100 AGIS participants will depart early in the morning on a day trip that will feature a visit to one of the world-famous Aran Islands and a boat trip along the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. These are some of the most scenic and beautiful areas in the world and feature a mix spectacular scenery and historical ruins. |

Attendees will depart the University of Limerick at approximately 7:15 AM on Wednesday morning and go by bus through the amazing scenery of the west of Ireland to Doolin on the northwest coast of Co Clare. They will then go by ferry to Inis Oírr, the smallest of the Aran Islands, where they will have the opportunity to do some sightseeing and have soup, sandwichs & tea and coffee. Afterwards, the ferry will take a very scenic route back to Doolin as it cruises beneath the world-famous Cliffs of Moher. Finally the bus will take everyone back to Limerick in time for the AGIS '09 Fundraising event. We think it will be a great day and best of all it's FREE to AGIS attendees. However, if you want to join us on this trip you'll need to register quickly as there are only 100 places available for this trip on a first-come first-served basis. We hope to see you there! |
